Cortina hosts the seventh edition of Queen of Taste, a late summer event dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of local products and the Ampezzo Valley culinary traditions. A true 2-day "food" festival, where the best local and Michelin starred Chefs will revisit traditional localdishes in a modern way.For this seventh edition, participants can enjoy StrEat, a combination of the words "street" and "eat", which blends the theme of street food with the class and elegance of the Queen of the Dolomites.

TEDxCortina returns with their 2024 edition! TEDx is a program of self-organized local events that bring people together to share an experience similar to that of TED. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks videos and live speakers come together for discussions and connections in smaller groups. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. Cortina for Us, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cortina d'Ampezzo and its partners, presents Formazione. This is the title of the second edition of the "Cortina Design Weekend", the event dedicated to the themes of design that will take place in Cortina d'Ampezzo from 12 to 14 July 2024. The aim is to promote a concrete reflection able to trace through design new forms of relationship with the mountain territory, to imagine solutions to enhance and preserve the environment, to develop models of interaction between people and objects.LAVAREDO ULTRA RAIL
LAVAREDO ULTRA RAIL
La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Rail, in its 17th edition, is back on and Cortina d’Ampezzo will be happy to host once again the thousands of runners from all over the world.
There will be 4 routes available: 120 km, 80 km, 50 km, and 20 km. The first athlete is expected to cross the finish line after approximately 12 hours, and the maximum time allowed is 30 hours.
For younger runners, the Cortina Kids Race is planned, which is open to children aged 0 to 13 years.
We wish all the runners a succesful race!

MILAN JUNIOR CAMP CORTINA
The AC Milan summer football camp (Milan Junior Camp) in Cortina d'Ampezzo was awarded by AC Milan as the 'best MJC in the world' in 2002, 2003 and 2007 (the only years in which AC Milan has awarded camp managers) and has been a sell-out for 20 years. A fairytale location and an absolutely prestigious camp with first-class staff.

CULTURAL HIGHLIGHTS
Museum of Paleontology Rinaldo Zardini: Features an important collection of fossils and other remnants of the region’s formation and ancient past.
Ethnographic Museum Regole d'Ampezzo: Set in a former saw mill, this provides an insight into the local history and traditions that helped put Cortina on the map. Along with traditional costumes and craft works in ebony, iron and silver, it shows the importance of the forest to village life in the region.
The Great War Open Air Museum: The largest open-air museum of the First World War, which isn’t a museum in the traditional sense but a series of trails, trenches and entrenchments carved into the rock by Austro-Hungarian troops fighting the Italians. It’s open all year round but is best suited for summer visits, when guided tours are led by volunteers in historic uniform.
